Garglen Charbrays
Our Charbray breeding program started approximately 19 years ago, on a 10 000 acre lease property in the Jimna ranges.  We use surplus Brahman stud females from Garglen and purchase Charolais bulls from studs such as the renowned Nargoon and Ayr.

Up to date, we have enjoyed strong demand for the heifers, being sold at weaning to properties as far away as NSW.  This year (2008) we have sold all our Charbray heifers and would like to thank purchasers especially the Baker Family of Murwillumbah for their continued support again this year as they have been coming to us for quite a few years now. Weaner bulls are handled at the Kandanga property, before being sent to Gympie on a lease property on the banks of the Mary River.  The bulls have been sold in bulk orders to Sherwood Holdings, Colonial Pastoral Co., AA Pastoral Co., Wave Hill, and Bidgemia Station.
At the recent 5th Annual Weaner Show & Sale in Gympie, we won Overall Champion Pen of Heifers as well as Pen of Heifers Suitable for Replacement Breeders.

We have 120 Charbray bulls 14 to 18 months old - vaccinated, worked with dogs, horses and motorbikes!
Great condition - ready for work.  These four are a sample of their quality -
